Characteristics of Moisture-proof Coated Paper.
Adhesive Encyclopedia / 2019-03-29

The function of interlayer moisture-proof coated paper is to slow down or block the speed of external moisture penetrating into the package through high-resistance moisture-proof packaging materials or to absorb the moisture penetrating into the package with desiccant at the same time, so as to maintain the moisture content of commodities and obtain a certain storage period.

At present, general moisture-proof packaging can meet certain moisture-proof packaging requirements by adopting moisture-proof paper packaging or plastic film packaging with high moisture resistance. However, puffed food or other * * * products with high moisture-proof packaging requirements need to be sealed with desiccant to ensure the quality requirements of food such as flavor or crispness.

Damp-proof packaging materials refer to packaging materials that cannot or are difficult to penetrate water vapor. Commonly used moisture-proof packaging materials include paper, plastic, metal, glass, ceramic, etc. Besides the functions of conventional packaging materials, moisture-proof packaging materials require less moisture permeability. The smaller the moisture permeability of moisture-proof materials, the better the moisture-proof performance.

Commonly used interlayer moisture-proof coating paper includes moisture-proof coating paper, moisture-proof cellophane paper, paraffin paper, polyvinyl chloride processing paper, asphalt waterproof paper, polyethylene processing paper, aluminum-plastic composite moisture-proof paper, moisture-proof corrugated board, etc. Generally, moisture-proof wrapping paper can be widely used in food, household appliances, industry, electronics, printing and other industries, can effectively play a moisture-proof role, and is a common packaging paper.
